This Memorial Day recipe is for anyone who likes grilled pineapple. The sautéed pineapple chutney is served on a bun over our Purnell's Old Fashioned Franks. It's Gooo-od!
Begin by heating up the grill to a medium temperature.
Toss pineapples and onions in a small amount of olive oil. Lightly season with sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cook over the fire using a large grilling skillet until tender.
Then grill the franks until light golden brown and cooked through.
Place the franks in buns and top with pineapple mixture.
- 4-6 Purnell’s “Old Folks” Old Fashioned Franks
- 3 cups fresh pineapple wedges
- 1 red onion, sliced into small pieces
- Olive oil
- Cayenne pepper
- 1 package of buns
