PRODUCTION/ LABOR (Slaughter/De-Bone)
Hourly wages. 6:00 am -2:30 pm Monday- Friday (Overtime is mandatory)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
An employee is required to perform various duties in the slaughter/de-bone department on any given day in the preparation of livestock for production.
- Prepare livestock for slaughter and De-boning
- Wash and inspect
- Removal of offal (guts, head, feet, etc.)
- Cut meat from bone
- Run grinders
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably ability to read and write.
Follows all safety rules in performance of job.
Ability to work safely in a damp environment.
Requires two hands, fast pace, ability to use a knife.
Ability to lift up to 48 lbs, push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to stand from 8-10 hours per day on wet floors.
Must be able to stoop, bend, twist and climb 20 steps 4 times a day.
Ability to follow directions.

PRIMARY DUTIES: Performs various duties in the production of meat products.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Operates various equipment in the production of sausage products, such as:
- Scales, shrink wrap machine, and tape machine and box machine
- Package, weigh, and stack and apply labels to products.
- Operates floor jack in moving of product.
- Other duties as required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequently required to stand on one’s feet for prolonged periods of time.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequently required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Frequently requires to use hands in fast pace.
- Ability to work safely in a cold damp environment.
- Ability to follow directions.
