Sweet and Sour Sausage Kebabs
Our Purnells Italian Sausage grilled up with with apples and green peppers and finished with a brown sugar and cider reduction. It's Gooo-od!
Directions
Prepare grill for a medium-high heat.
Thread sausage, apple and pepper on skewers, alternating each. Meanwhile, combine glaze ingredients in a saucepan and cook until it reaches a boil and noticeably thickens.
Brush with glaze and ad to grill. Continue to add glaze as necessary. Cook over coals until sausage is browned(about 10 minutes).
Ingredients
Kebabs:
- 1 lb. fully cooked Purnell’s Italian Sausage, cut into pieces
- 2 red cooking apples, each cut into wedges
- 1 lg. green pepper, cut into strips
Glaze:
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2/3 c. apple juice
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
