Spaghetti Sauce with Spaghetti

Made with Purnell's “Old Folks” Italian Sausage, “Old Folks” Medium Sausage


1 lb. Purnell’s Medium Pork Sausage or 1 lb. Italian Sausage
Salt and Pepper to Taste
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
15 oz. Tomato Sauce
6 oz. Tomato Paste
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1 tbsp. Dried Parsley
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
Crushed Red Pepper to Taste
1 tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Water


In large skillet, brown sausage and onion. Drain excess grease.  Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, parsley, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, sugar and worchestershire sauce to the skillet.  Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer.  Add water and stir.  Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper.  Serve over hot cooked spaghetti.
