Hot Smoke Sausage and Garden Vegetable Sauté
Pick your garden vegetables and Sauté them with our Purnell's Hot Smoke Sausage. "It's Gooo-od!"
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the smoked sausage and brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Heat butter in the same skillet. As butter melts, add garlic and onions and cook until garlic is fragrant and onions are softened.
Add vegetables and seasonings and cook until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Return sausage to the skillet and continue heating until all ingredients are hot.
- 1 lb our Purnell’s Hot Smoke Sausage, cut into 1” pieces
- 1 Tbs butter, unsalted
- 1 yellow squash, halved and cut lengthwise
- 1 zucchini, halved and cut lengthwise
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- ¼ cup onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp garlic
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
