Scrambled Eggs with Chorizo Sausage

Try this spicy Gooo-od! recipe with your family. Scramble some eggs with our Purnells Chorizo for breakfast or dinner.


Crumble sausage into an unheated 10 inch skillet. Slowly cook sausage for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain off excess fat. In a bowl beat eggs, milk, salt, and pepper with a fork.

Pour egg mixture over sausage in skillet. Cook without stirring over low heat until eggs start to set on bottom and sides of pan. Lift and fold eggs with spatula so uncooked part runs to bottom. Continue lifting and folding for 2 to 3 minutes or until eggs start to set. Fold in the chopped tomato. Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.

Makes 4 servings.


  • 4 ozs of Purnell’s Chorizo
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 medium tomato peeled, seeded and chopped
  • Dash of pepper
