Sausage & Wild Rice Casserole
Our Purnell’s "Old Folks" Original Country Sausage (Medium), our Purnell's Hot Country Sausage, Herb Seasoned White & Wild Rice, tomatoes, onion, mushroom and Velveeta Cheese.
Cook and drain sausage. Cook rice according to package directions. Mix all ingredients except 1/2 C of cheese.
Put into ungreased casserole, sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour.
- 1 lb. Purnell’s “Old Folks” Original Country Sausage (Medium)
- 1 lb. Purnell’s Hot Country Sausage
- 1 box “Herb Seasoned White & Wild Rice”
- 1 small can tomatoes, chopped and drained
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped
- 1 small can mushroom pieces with liquid
- 1 1/2 cup shredded Velveeta Cheese
