Sausage Kabobs
Directions
Ingredients
1lb. Purnell’s “Old Folks” Medium Country Sausage (1 roll)
1 Tbsp. dried Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
Suggested Vegetables
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Zucchini Sqaush (cut into 1 inch chunks)
- Mushrooms
- Green and red bell peppers
Wooden or metal skewers
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine sausage and seasonings. Form mixture into small meatballs. Cover and chill about 1 hour. Prepare charcoal or gas grill or preheat oven to 400 degrees if cooking inside. When meat is chilled remove from refrigerator and thread onto skewers, alternating with vegetables. Grill or cook in oven until meat is well done and browned and vegetables are somewhat wilted. Serve with a side salad or over rice. Makes 4-6 servings.
