Sausage Hash

Nothing goes better with eggs and Purnell's sausage than Hash. Try this recipe with our Purnell's Original Country Sausage (Medium), potatoes, onion, carrots and bell peppers.


Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until no longer pink.
Add the carrots, bell pepper and onion to skillet and cook until softened.
Stir in potatoes and seasonings. Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes, stirring.
Potatoes should be lightly browned and heated thoroughly.


  • 1 lb Purnell’s Or
  • 3 cups potatoes (cooked), diced
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, finely diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • dash of red pepper flakes
