Sausage and Cheese Balls

With our Purnell’s Original Country Sausage (Medium), biscuit mix, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, egg and mozzarella cheese, these sausage cheese balls are Gooo-od!


Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Cover cookie sheet in a coat of non-stick cooking spray. In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and shape into 1” balls. Place on cookie sheet, spaced evenly, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Delicious served with dipping sauces such as marinara or melted cheese.


  • 6oz Purnell’s Original Country Sausage (Medium), cooked and drained
  • 1 cup biscuit mix of your liking (Bisquick, etc)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
