Quarter Pound Pork Burger Patties
1lb Sausage Rolls Make 4 Quarter Pound Pork Patties. Some say you might even call it a GroundHOG Burger!
Directions
- Pre-heat Grill or Skillet to 360°F.
- Slice the roll sausage in 4 Quarters.
- Roll into a ball and flatten the patty in your hand.
- Press your thumb in the middle of the patty for more even cooking.
- Roll the sausage into a ball and use a press to make a SMASH Pork Burger!
- Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for approximately 3 ½ min on each side.
- Cook to internal temperature of 160°F.
- Add sliced cheese on top of the patty until cheese melts.
- Top with whatever toppings you like. Mayo, Mustard, Thousand Island, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Cheese!Any way you like it….

Ingredients
- One, 1 Pound Purnell’s Sausage Roll of any flavor (Photos are made with Smokehouse)
- 4 Buns Medium size buns (Hawaiian Buns are Gooo-od too!)
- 4 Slices of Cheese (American, Cheddar or Swiss)
- 1 Sliced Onion
- 1 Head of Lettuce
- 1 Sliced Tomato
- Dill Pickles (Hamburger Chip Style)
- Choice of Condiments: Mustard, Ketchup, Mayo or Thousand Island (goes great with swiss cheese!)
