Philly Style Sausage Cheese Sandwich
Purnell's Original Medium Country Sausage Roll (or any flavor), Sweet Onion, Red & Yellow Peppers, Cheez Whiz® OR Provolone Cheese.
You can cook this on a Blackstone® like outdoor grill or in a skillet on the stove.
Cook sausage roll and chop into crumbles. Dice up large chunks of onion on the side and cook till golden. Slice your peppers and cook til limp. Once sausage has cooked to an internal temp of 165•, mix in the onions into the sausage.
Divide your sausage onion piles into 3 rows. Top with either Cheez Whiz® or Provolone Cheese (True Philly Lovers Debate Which is Better). Do not mix cheese into meat, let it melt into it. Lightly toast your sub/hoagie buns on both sides. Open face of buns and lay in your sausage onion with the cheese.
Add pepper and more cheese if you like.
