Mini Sausage Pizzas

Directions
Brown sausage, garlic powder and cumin in preheated skillet, drain. Mix tomato paste and can pizza sauce, spread 2 Tbsp. of mixture on each half of muffins. Top with sausage, oregano and fennel to taste, and mozzarella. Bake 5 minutes at 400ºF or 1 minute at High in microwave.
Makes 12 mini-pizzas.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Purnell’s “Old Folks” Medium, Hot or Italian Sausage
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 16 oz. can of pizza sauce
- 6 sourdough muffins
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- Oregano
- Fennel
