Fall Casserole

This fall, try this casserole with our Purnell's Original Country Sausage (Medium) Granny Smith apples, onion, stuffing, celery, carrots, golden raisins, brown sugar.


Grease a medium baking dish with butter and set aside. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook thoroughly. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Return skillet to heat and add vegetable oil, then onion celery and carrots. Cool until carrots begin to soften and onion is translucent. Mix in sausage and remaining ingredients.

Pour into greased baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.


  • 1 pkg Purnell’s Original Country Sausage (Medium)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup white onion, diced
  • 3 cups stuffing, cooked
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/8 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • butter, to grease baking dish
