Cheesy Potatoes and Sausage Casserole

Make this casserole with our Original Country Sausage (Medium), potatoes, sharp cheddar and onions in less than 30 minutes. "It's Gooo-od!"


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large saucepan, add peeled potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a rapid boil then reduce heat to simmer until tender, about 8-10 minutes.

While potatoes are cooking, add sausage and onion to a skillet over medium-high heat and cook thoroughly. Crumble as the sausage is cooking.

When potatoes are ready, drain and arrange in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over potatoes and add sausage mixture. Stir gently.

Sprinkle with cheese and seasoning.

Bake until cheese is melted, 5-10 minutes.


  • 1 lb Original Country Sausage (Medium)
  • 3 lbs. potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • crushed red pepper flakes
