Cheesy Bratwurst Casserole

This cheesy casserole is creamy good comfort food. It uses our Purnell's Cooked Bratwurst for that extra flavor. Try it for your family.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a casserole dish and set aside. Bring a pot of water to boil and add potatoes. Cook until tender, drain, and set aside.

In a skillet, add oil and cook bratwurst over medium heat until cooked through. Drain and add to a large bowl. Mix in potatoes and all remaining ingredients. Pour into a buttered casserole dish, cover, and bake for 45 minutes.


  • 6 bratwursts, sliced into 1” pieces
  • 1/2 Tbs oil
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 8 oz green beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 10 1/2 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk or cream
