Franks with a Cider Glaze
This is a single pan recipe using our Purnell's Old Fashioned Franks, sautéed with onions, apples, and sage leaves in apple cider. "It's Gooo-od!"
Directions
Heat 2 tbs olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion (chopped into small wedges) and franks into the skillet. Cook until franks are deep golden brown, taking approximately 5-7 minutes. Be sure to turn the franks and stir the onions about half way through.
Then add the sage leaves, cider and diced apples into the mixture. Lower the heat to a rapid simmer and cook until cider is thick and syrupy. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
When finished simmering, serve the franks with a hefty drizzle of the cider glaze.
