F. B. Purnell Sausage Co. in Simpsonville last week won the state’s 2021 Agribusiness of the Year Award. The honor was presented by Agribusiness Industry Network during the annual Farm City Luncheon at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville. Kentucky Department of Agriculture sponsored the award. Company president Fred “Todd” Purnell accepted the award. The award is in its 28th year.
