Sausage Pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Purnell’s "Old Folks" Medium or Hot Pork Sausage
  • 3 cups Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup corn meal (optional)

How to prepare:

Add corn meal to biscuit mix; knead lightly and roll to 1/8 inch thickness. Spread uncooked sausage evenly on dough. Roll like a jelly roll about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper or foil and chill. Slice 1/4 inch thick and bake ungreased cookie sheet at 450ºF until golden brown.
