Ingredients
1 lb. Purnell’s “Old Folks” Hot Sausage
2 cups celery, chopped
4 tbsp butter
2 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup currants
1 medium yellow onion, minced
8 cups stale bread crumbs
2 tsp salt
1 tsp thyme, marjoram, sage
1/4 cup orange juice
Directions
Sauté celery and onion in butter. Soak currants in orange juice. Fry and drain sausage. Combine all ingredients and stuff a 12 or 14 lb. Turkey.
